many things happened lately.. tokngah abah is still in the hospital, pakngah Halim was admitted into ICU last Tuesday but alhamdulillah now he is recovering and is placed in a regular ward :) and i got fever.. but it was a good thing.. i got enough rest (tidur satu hari memang laa...) =)
si kembar had gone back to Putrajaya and i'm on stand-by to be called by maksu to babysit them.. i don't really mind babysitting the boys.. there are so so so GORGEOUS..!
i actually have the intention to be on diet again as i'm alert on my rapid increase of weight.. but it is hard to control my meal.. there's always something edible everytime i go to the kitchen scavenging for food..lol~~
what else yaa..? oohh my dear book which i bought long time ago entitled "THE BOY NO ONE LOVED"
i've done reading that.. it was a sad and heartbreaking true story.. it portrayed how evil man can be.. *KEJAM*
yeahh..while having a chitchat with mak, she suddenly brought up the issue of "mas kahwin" and "hantaran"
mak said "mas kahwin" is better if it is at low price but valuable. When i came up with this word "kakak ingat nak letak mas kahwin RM 77.70 je.." mak suddenly got heated up.. i mean.. her tone of voice increased.Mak further uttered "kalau RM77 sekarang ni ada nilai ka..? nak beli pakaian dalam lepas tu buat frame..? kata tu (frame of lingeries) duit mas kahwin..?" i was startled..! MAk said that..??
Mak then continued ," duit hantaran ni milik wanita.. itu hak wanita jadi ia perlu berharga, Semasa zaman Saidina Ali pun, sewaktu beliau nak berkahwin dengan Saiditina Fatimah, beliau jadikan baju besinya untuk dijadikan mas kahwin.. sebab apa..? Sebab walaupun baju besi tu dia dapat tanpa mengeluarkan sesen pon, tapi kalau ikut situasi zaman tu, baju perang adalah sangat berharga, sebab kalau dijual boleh dapat harga yg tinggi, yakni BERNILAI.."
i nodded while thinking "i should let mak and abah decide on my mas kahwin later" =P
abang then asked mak.."yang duit banyak-banyak sampai macam nak jual anak sendiri tu apa..?"
mak smashed back "yang jadi tawar menawar tu sebab pihak perempuan letak harga tinggi sangat sampai pihak lelaki tak mampu..masa mak kahwin dulu pon, arwah wan letak mas kahwin jer, duit hantaran terpulang pada pihak lelaki nak bagi berapa.." and again.. we stealthily nodded.
*we are now big enough to discuss this THING with mak..hehehe
2nd semester will soon be started and i'm anxious to know my examination result. i hope everything will be just fine.. I pray to Allah to grant makngah and her children SABR and strength to face this ujian..

eh..bkan hntran ditetapkan kluarga pihak perempuan ke??yg mas kahwin dah ditetapkan majlis agama di negeri masg2 kan??
ReplyDeleteboleh jer kalau tak ikut jumlah yg ditetapkan oleh majlis agama.. adatnya mmg hantaran ditetapkan oleh pihak perempuan.. nama pon ADAT wan..jd takde masalah kalau tak ikut..:)
